Microenterprise development changes lives. But well-documented abuses in the sector serve as a clear reminder that while microfinance done well is transformational, microfinance practiced poorly can harm those the industry was created to help. This is the time for the sector to unite in establishing practices that will protect the integrity and effectiveness of Christ-centered microfinance.
Join host HOPE International on November 16-17 during the annual Accord Summit to hear from thought leaders in areas including client protection and training, engage in lateral learning opportunities, and collectively draft Principles of Excellence for the microenterprise development sector.
Objectives:
HOPE International is the lead agency for this invitation-only Summit. Register here or contact Lori Scannapieco here with requests for more information or an invitation.
