Data Entry and Quality Control Assistant

The data entry and quality control assistant is responsible for maintaining clean data in HOPE’s CRM system. In this role s/he will provide routine manual updates to our system including updating mailing addresses, bounced emails, preference center updates and more. Additionally, this role will regularly monitor new contacts and account ownership in order to facilitate appropriate communications and engagement with HOPE’s constituents.

Promote and contribute to the fulfillment of HOPE International’s mission and vision

Provide routine updates to maintain data quality
Run a monthly address quality check to ensure all address fields are populated correctly and update fields as needed
Process all move updates from the mail house
Detect and merge duplicates within our CRM system two times a week
Monitor and update the proper association on accounts, contacts, and gifts for reporting accuracy
Regularly audit account ownership
Update all bounced emails on a monthly basis
Process moves management updates between giving channels
Execute a monthly audit of HOPE staff within the system and update any discrepancies

Support ongoing requests for data updates and clean up
Receive and respond to appropriate tickets from the help desk in a timely manner
Adjust email and mailing preferences upon request
Process unsubscribe and resubscribe requests as needed
Support local event teams with syncing Blackthorn to Salesforce event campaigns
Clean up mail house spreadsheets in preparation for marketing mailings
Assist with other projects and tasks as requested by the associate director of advancement operations

Ability to follow a standardized process while remaining flexible in a face paced environment
High school diploma
Experience working within a CRM or similar database preferred
