Development Integration – Virginia Beach, VA
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced program professional to oversee the planning, development, and implementation of operations for our Helping the Home Front military ministry program.
This position will work closely with other internal stakeholders to establish the most effective strategies and processes for serving military families in need throughout the country. The Director will also act as a brand ambassador to churches, military chaplains, and other partner organizations.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
•5-10 years of program management experience with demonstrated success in growing and developing a humanitarian relief and development program within a nonprofit setting
•Strong ability to identify, engage, and build a network of partnering organizations
•Preferred background in military chaplaincy and/or ministry to military families
•Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to cast vision and articulate the mission, goals, and values of the brand and larger organization
•Strong ability to analyze, monitor, evaluate, and optimize strategic plans and initiatives
•Proven ability to build consensus, work effectively across departments and interact with external publics in a positive and professional manner
•Strong project management skills with ability to work well under pressure, spearhead multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines
• Flexible with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
•Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a larger team
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM database software, and program/project management tools
•BA/BS degree in Military, Military Chaplaincy, Social Work, or related field
