The Director of Strategic Execution will play a pivotal role in implementing World Relief’s newly developed strategic direction, “Forward Together.” In this role, the director will work closely with the President & CEO and other members of the executive team to promote the effective execution of key initiatives. This role will blend the competencies of project management, stakeholder management, and communications to drive organizational change and create momentum around the organization’s strategy. Under the leadership of the President & CEO, manage the implementation of the organizational strategic plan and key strategic initiatives. To this end serve as the primary project manager responsible for developing detailed implementation plans, supporting execution, and monitoring and managing key deliverables
Lead various cross departmental initiatives and special projects – especially those focused on process development related to enterprise wide change management
Conduct analysis in order to produce reports, business case documents, and evaluation of various strategic initiatives
Produce strategic reports and dashboard related to project in the office of the CEO and at the level of the executive committee
Facilitate the implementation of the OKR framework at the executive committee level
Support communications related to strategic initiatives in the office of the CEO. This includes drafting written communications, preparing presentations for others to deliver or speaking at various internal meetings about key strategic initiatives
Represent the president and CEO at internal meetings as needed
Participate in meetings of the executive committee as an associate member
Support other duties at the discretion of the president and CEO

High emotional intelligence and ability to develop trusting, integrity based relationship with colleagues in order to foster effective collaboration
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Ability to form small cross departmental teams, motivate them to a shared purpose and execute on a plan of action in a short period of time
Strong personal initiative and the ability to develop action plans and execute with minimal supervision
An earnest desire to grow and learn new skills while working in a high performance environment engaged in mission critical tasks
Mature and personal Christian faith

Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
Bachelors degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field. Masters degrees are strong preferred.
5-7 years of professional experience in roles with a strong project management focus.
Prior experience working in a faith based organization or non-profit setting.

General office setting
Great lengths of time working on computer, reading from computer screen, entering information, standing at copier or fax machine, and some time on the phone or in Skype meetings may be required
Year-end archiving activities involve repeated lifting and bending
