Financial Planning & Analysis Director

Ministry Function:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Director will play a critical role in supporting the Christian mission and ministry of Convoy of Hope and COH Foundation by providing financial and strategic support to the executive team through measuring, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting key financial data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies and plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
2. Provide financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making across the organization.
3. Cultivate strong relationships across all departments and work collaboratively to develop and manage annual budget and
forecasting process.
4. Recommend cost-effective alternatives for current and future projects.
5. Identify, design, and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the
FP&A function.
6. Lead the development and maintenance of financial and operational metrics to monitor and drive performance.
7. Assist in developing and presenting training on budgeting matters.
8. All other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Bachelor’s in accounting Required.
2. CMA or CPA preferred.
3. 5+ years of experience in related accounting field.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Exceptional knowledge of analyzing risks, preparing forecasts, and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
6. Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
7. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting software.
8. Accurate and precise attention to detail.
9. Maintains a professional and positive working relationship with fellow staff.
10. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
11. Serve as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden and develop financial and other resource opportunities to
support and expand organizational and program ministry.
12. Ability to positively represent the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside

purposes for which it exists and not only agrees with its Statement of Faith but demonstrates it in their lives on an ongoing

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
