Reports to: Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications

Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating all marketing projects, including internal projects for staff and all external facing campaigns. This collaborative, detail-oriented individual will be crucial in supporting project production, reviews, and reporting in a fast-paced environment.


Additionally, this position will be responsible for updating website project content and data. Along with these main responsibilities, they will be coordinating projects cross departmentally, specifically with the Systems and Donor Relations teams. They will be responsible for coordinating direct mail and website projects and coordinating any upcoming events to aid the Donor Relations team in donor acquisition and retention. This individual will be instrumental in monitoring project details in an efficient and timely manner.


Marketing Projects Coordination

  • Coordinate projects and build out project timelines in Asana
  • Ensure all project details and tasks are on track throughout the project, via frequent communication and team check-ins
  • Review internal staff project requests and build out project timeline for team
  • Aid Donor Relations team with upcoming events to help donor acquisition and donor retention


Website Content and Data Coordination

  • Manage and execute website content updates, such as uploading project stories and updating website data
  • Report weekly on all site, email, and ad metrics for analysis by manager
  • Coordinate website release projects with Systems team to keep projects, reviews, and plans on track


Print and Artwork Coordination

  • Coordinate all print projects with print houses and our team to prepare all mailing lists and artwork for print
  • Review and prepare direct mail lists and artwork for print through reviews, spot checks and proofs
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on all content proofreading and reviews, specifically for external content and project stories

Work Experience and Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Adherence to Lifewater’s statement of faith
  • Passion for Lifewater’s mission of serving vulnerable communities and children
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 3 months of work or volunteer experience in a non-profit environment
  • Basic understanding of cloud-based systems and tools (G-Suite, project management tools, website builders like WordPress, WIX or Squarespace)
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship will be provided


Preferred Qualifications

  • Specific experience with WordPress, Asana, Salesforce
  • Project coordination experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
