Lifewater is an established Christian non-profit and community development organization walking with the rural poor to provide access to safe water, and improved sanitation and hygiene, one village at a time. For 45 years, we have served more than 2.5 million people in 40+ countries with life-saving clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices. Lifewater currently serves in Cambodia, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Position Overview
The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for providing the day-to-day technical operations for the Marketing team. The role is accountable for capturing and analyzing data for the Development team, and for managing all operational aspects of the Lifewater website. The role will also report on data from Salesforce, and be a liaison for all marketing projects.
The Marketing Project Manager’s primary responsibilities include:
Project Management
-Liaison between marketing and donor relations teams for all project management coordination, communication, and updates.
-Ensure all project details and tasks are on track throughout the project, via frequent communication and team check-in.
-Manage multiple projects related to marketing, including but not limited to, developing videos, compelling stories, and print-related material.
-Other duties as assigned.
Insight Analysis and Learning
-Work closely with the Director of Marketing to capture, monitor, and analyze results of all marketing efforts and make recommendations on how to improve results.
-Work closely with the Technology department, Director of Marketing, and Chief Development Officer in developing automated, department-specific dashboards for marketing and donor relations.
-Create, generate, and interpret data for accurate, actionable reporting on marketing initiatives from the Salesforce database and Google Analytics.
-Work closely with the Technology department to ensure all Development-related Salesforce tasks and reports are completed.
-Responsible for all marketing dashboards and reporting metrics, used to track KPIs.
Website Management
-Make necessary edits to the website regarding seasonal campaigns, and update the website content on a regular basis.
-Implement dynamic, relevant, and targeted landing pages and donation pages.
-Communicate digital marketing updates with the organization, specifically the Development Team.
-Conduct usability testing to identify opportunities and test new iterations on the website.
Work Experience and Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
-Adherence to Lifewater’s statement of faith
-Passion for Lifewater’s mission of serving vulnerable communities and children
-3-5 years of related marketing experience
-Experience managing and analyzing full-funnel Marketing data and KPIs
-Experience using CRM databases, such as Salesforce
-Experience using WordPress, with an understanding of its programming
-Focused attention to detail, excellent organizational and project management skills, and the agile ability to multitask and work well under pressure
-Ability to analyze data and to provide strategic insights with actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner to marketing team members, cross-functional business partners and executive leadership.
-Strong written and verbal communication skill
-Legally eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship will be provided
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field
-Previous work experience with a non-profit organization
-Experience working with Project Management systems, such as Asana
Physical Qualifications:
-Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
-Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
