Required Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. Requires practical, specialized work experience in project coordination/budget oversight or related area; 3-5 years. OR Bachelor’s degree plus 1-2 years of practical, specialized work experience in related area

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.

Travel: Up to 5 percent of time in domestic contexts.

Salary Range: $53,000 – $79,000. Please note the typical hiring range is $55,000 – $66,500 annually. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity. This range applies to locations with a market similar to our Washington D.C. office. A different range may apply based on your work location.

The Job:

World Vision is looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to provide administrative and project support to our team focused on World Vision’s international program quality and impact work. The Senior Project Coordinator will serve on the Program Quality and Impact (PQI) team under the supervision of the Sr. Director of Operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, devotions, chapel, prayer, worship); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
Assist PQI Operations Team and VP Office with support to projects and events.
Act as liaison with other teams within the organization, including fundraising and acquisition teams.
Identify and analyze any project reporting discrepancies, noting areas for opportunity that may require further follow-up and make decisions to resolve issues and prevent problems in the future.
Prepare presentations to be used by VP and key PQI leaders.
Actively engage in and contribute to the development and implementation of division goals, strategies and activities.
Perform complex and diverse administrative duties directly related to the achievement of division and/or program goals and strategies that involve high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information, necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgement.
Participate in various team, client or vendor meetings as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Associate’s degree or equivalent (four years) work experience. In addition to education or educational equivalent, requires practical, specialized work experience in project coordination/budget oversight or related area; 3-5 years.

OR

Bachelor’s degree plus 1-2 years of practical, specialized work experience in related area.

Salary Range & Benefits:

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 221
The full range for this position is $53,000 – $79,000.
