SG Multiply Regional Coordinator

The SG Multiply Regional Coordinator – Latin America will serve as a key leader on a rapidly growing team focused on expanding our network of strategic, missionally aligned partners in the region. S/he will serve as lead and point of contact for all SG Multiply activities in Latin America and will be responsible for initiating and supporting high-impact partnerships in the region in line with our expansion strategy.

Promote and fulfill the mission and vision of HOPE International
SG Multiply
Serve as Latin America lead and point of contact for all SG Multiply activities and initiatives in the region
Actively seek and network with mission-aligned organizations and church networks in the region to build a pool of potential SG Multiply partners for future collaboration in line with our strategy and criteria
Support various phases of SG Multiply partnerships including partnership development, ministry design, training, ongoing support to ensure effective collaboration for a healthy partnership
Contribute to design, adaptation, and improvement of partner-specific SG methodology to support the partner in implementing a flourishing SG ministry
Help build, recruit, train, and manage a team of SG Multiply program advisors and consultants in the region to develop and equip the regional SG Multiply team that reinforce biblical principles of respect, humility, and Christ-likeness
Provide status updates to CSU on any key activities and initiatives in the region on a regular basis
Lead and manage the SG Multiply budget and reforecast process for the region
Facilitate strategic planning and innovation activities for SG Multiply in the region
Manage grant funding from end-to-end for partners in the region
Train partner staff and volunteers on SG curricula, ministry processes, and management tools
Engage partners and HOPE staff in continual improvement and feedback processes for continual refinement of SG Multiply methodology to ensure high-level of service to new and existing partners
Savings Group Program Support
Serve as a member of the Savings Group (SG) team, providing technical leadership and support to HOPE’s network of SG Multiply partners
Participate in regular SG team meetings and planning/strategy sessions, carrying out assigned tasks and working to equip field leadership for country specific and network wide initiatives
Model servant-leadership in the work environment, including HOPE co-workers and ministry stakeholders
Contribute to a culture that models Biblical principles and incorporates an intentional and effective Christ-centered witness in all SG programs
Encourage and model servant-like posture in relationships with CSU, field, and SG Multiply

Personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to the mission of HOPE International
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. international development, economics, or business management); advanced degree preferred
Demonstrated 7+ years of experience working in savings groups or holistic community development
Strong cross-cultural communication sensitivity and skill
Self-starter, takes initiative on projects
Experience working with partners and/or consulting
Experience applying participatory education (adult learning principles) and facilitating trainings preferred
Requires willingness and ability to travel up to 75 nights per year, mostly international trips to visit partner programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish
