The Need
After 25 years of continued growth and operational success in pioneering the work of protecting those who are experiencing poverty from violence, IJM has become a $100+ million organization. As IJM continues this trajectory of growth and scaling of its impact, with the Vision to protect 500 million people by the year 2030, IJM’s Global Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning Systems.

This position is based in the Washington, DC area or remotely and reports to the Global Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis.

Responsibilities:
Facilitate the optimal implementation of IJM’s budget management tool by integrating the tool with IJM’s ERP and CRM systems and building the tool’s dimensions, structures and interfaces in a way that supports budget managers, revenue generators and organizational leaders;

Support the Financial Planning & Analysis team, budget managers, revenue generators and organizational leaders by building and publishing financial planning reports, dashboards, data visualization and other analytical tools emanating from IJM’s budget management tool;

Empower the Financial Planning & Analysis team, budget managers, revenue generators and organizational leaders through the promulgation of policies and the delivery of relevant trainings on the use of IJM’s budget management tool and IJM-specific financial planning; and

Support the strategic planning, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process by collaborating with the Financial Planning & Analysis team on optimizing the process and the tools used to implement it.

Requirements:
Experience and high-level competency with Microsoft Excel and/or other similar software packages;

Experience with Adaptive Planning, Workday Financials and/or Salesforce CRM or similar data platforms;

Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization software packages strongly preferred;

Experience and aptitude in implementing and/or integrating financial and data systems strongly preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with leaders from various cultures and disciplines;

Ability to find simple, elegant and proactive solutions to seemingly intractable complex problems;

Ability to remain winsome, professional, loving and engaged in professional disagreement or conflict;

Ability to maintain the posture of a servant, ensuring that our customers succeed.
