Role: Video Producer
Location: Prefer Seattle (Federal Way, WA) base. Remote possible w/preference for Pacific NW base for ease of travel to the HQ office as needed post-pandemic.
Salary Range: $55,000–$70,000 (approx. DOE)
Level: associate to mid-level (3-5 years of experience minimum)
Tools & Equipment: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar programs. You bring speed and proficiency with video cameras including: RED Scarlet W, Sony FS7, Canon C100, Panasonic Lumix GH4, Sony A7SII.

Be an integral member of our 4-person studio that sits within our larger internal creative agency with 30+ clients org-wide. Be a deft collaborator with other agency teams from design, copy, social, and client services. Picture yourself as the key driver in the end-to-end process of creating branded video content that plays across all channels driving consumer awareness and brand loyalty among other metrics (i.e. strategy, ideation, shooting, editing, project prioritization, management of files/file naming, content delivery, and evaluating video analytics to see how they perform on social media and other mediums). Think of content types such as commercials, marketing, social, and documentary-style. Bring your acute ability to translate concepts into evocative and compelling storytelling that’s also on brand through aesthetic acuity and technical knowledge of shooting, lighting, sound (including equipment), and editing in a Mac environment. As a successful candidate you will inherently have and continue to keep us up to date on the latest trends in video, motion graphics, and visual effects. 02 What success looks like: (1) You produce high quality videos, starting from the initial creative meeting through to the post production process, including writing, researching, shooting, directing, editing, graphic animation, encoding, operate professional video cameras, use of video editing software and apps, as well linear and nonlinear video editing systems. (2) You write persuasive and influential scripts for videos that maximize the impact on the target audience ensuring that information and language effectively communicates the work of World Vision. (3) You research all information for use in video production ensuring accuracy and high-relevancy for its intended audience. (4) You lead all phases of assigned video projects and shoots both domestic and international with an adherence to budget, deadlines, and project goals. (5) You schedule all post-production activities including recording narration, music, and other aspects of post-production work. (6) You assist in managing the work of freelance video professionals providing conceptual and technical advice to ensure high quality final products.

05 You Bring: A Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of equivalent work experience. In addition to education or equivalent work experience, we’re asking for a minimum 3-5 years of work experience in video production.
06 Additional skills we’re interested in: Prior experience with international video production work in developing countries or fragile contexts. You’re well-versed in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve, or similar programs. You bring speed and proficiency with video cameras including: RED Scarlet W, Sony FS7, Canon C100, Panasonic Lumix GH4, Sony A7SII. You have a working knowledge of lighting and audio techniques. An ability to manage video libraries and assets. A knack for evaluating video analytics from social media and other digital media sources to make data-driven decisions for evolving and optimizing the impact of our work. 3D/VR/360 experience is a plus as well as an ability to operate a drone and/or drone permit. VR/AR experience is a plus.
