2020 Evidence Summit on Strategic Religious Engagement
The United States Agency for International Development invites the submission of abstracts from individuals or groups for USAID’s Evidence Summit on Strategic Religious Engagement to be held in Washington DC from October 6th – 8th, 2020.
The three-day event will examine research evidence around the role of religious community engagement and faith-based organizations in global development and humanitarian assistance to consider implications for USAID policy and practice. Through this Call for Presentation Proposals, USAID will provide an opportunity for academics, researchers and practitioners to showcase emerging research, new data and trends and promising practices in this subject area. The submission deadline for this call is July 17th, 2020 at 5:00pm EST. Applications should be sent to
cfoi@usaid.gov and should include the applicant’s name and “USAID Evidence Summit Proposal” in the subject line. Questions regarding the Evidence Summit and the corresponding Call for Presentation Proposals may be sent directly to Amanda Vigneaud at
avigneaud@usaid.gov.
